Between one thing and another it's been almost a week since I posted. Just wanted to say hi and that I am still here and nothing is wrong! Except juggling being a working mother with training for the R4L, trying to keep up with Facebook and other people's blogs, and spending time with friends during my precious time off. Oh and spending a few snatched hours with hubby inbetween his shifts and my working day. Ho hum.

I'm a Mammy to my 2 year old daughter Poppy. I began this blog when she was 9 months old in order not to go completely crazy, from a combination of her being whingy and vocal about it, fiercely independent, and generally very loveable but hard work. I returned to work when she was 12 months old and this new life is presenting new challenges, highs and lows, complicated by being diagnosed with early-onset rheumatoid arthritis only 6 months after returning.
